Zokuomthawn is the weekly news bulettin of the Zo people leaving in the National Capital Region of Delhi. It has been published by the Zou Students’ Association, Delhi Branch since 1992 bearing relevent names. viz: Zolengthe, Zomi Taangkou and at present Zokuomthawn.

In 2004, Mr. Paulienhang Zou @ HangP, aware of the necessity for the online version of this printed edition, solely started www.zokuomthawn.tk, which is now, administered by Mr. Tungnung, Zamlunmang Zou from the year 2006. It has become the online documentation of the Zo people all over the world.

Their Literal Meanings:

Zo Leengthe means “the enchanting bird of the Zo” & Zomi Taangkou: signifies “the harbinger of the Zo people”.

Zokuomthawn literally mean, ‘Echoing the Zo valley’. ‘Zo’ mean the name of the people, ‘Kuom’ stands for the ‘valley’ and ‘thawn’ signifies ‘the echoing’. This site may not be upto the expectation of the viewer as it is yet to be registered.
